Position Description

Head of Intermediary Distribution

Homestead Advisers is seeking a Senior Leader of Intermediary Distribution to shape and lead the third-party sales effort for Homestead Funds across intermediary channels like RIAs, retirement platforms, bank trusts/private banks and institutional consultants.

As the senior distribution executive, you will define and execute a gatekeeper-centric strategy to drive AUM growth through intermediary channels. You will identify opportunities to expand Homestead’s brand and product offerings to new financial institutions and through sub-advisory mandates. As a key leader at the firm, you will educate internal teams on third-party sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set organizational strategy as a member of leadership and head the intermediary distribution efforts
  • Build, lead and execute sales activities across third-party channels like RIAs and large financial firms
  • Drive asset sales by targeting and developing relationships with key gatekeepers, due diligence teams and senior leadership
  • Design annual plans with strategic focus, targeted prospecting, marketing campaigns and events
  • Promote the Homestead brand and cultivate prospects through industry conference representation
  • Uphold Homestead’s client-centric culture focused on long-term value creation

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree like MBA, CFA, CIMA or CFP preferred
  • 15+ years of intermediary distribution experience with established industry relationships
  • Proven success selling to gatekeepers/research teams at large financial institutions FINRA Series 7, 65 and 26 licenses required Expertise across traditional equity and fixed income asset classes
  • Exceptional leadership skills for attracting/developing talent
  • Outstanding communication abilities to articulate investment philosophy/process
  • Strategic mindset for identifying opportunities in new markets/channels
  • Ability to mentor others and uphold the firm’s core values

Hybrid Wholesaler, Intermediary Distribution

The Hybrid Wholesaler, Intermediary Distribution at Homestead Advisers responsible for driving sales and growth of Homestead Funds primarily within RIAs and Independent Broker Dealers. This role plays a critical role in achieving asset growth and increasing market share within this segment.
